Kaitlyn has been taking portraits professionally since 2007 and approaches her photography with an artist's mindset. She is also a painter, writer, nature-enthusiast, and adventure-seeker. When she photographs weddings and engagements, she looks for the creative angles and lighting, the organic moments no one knew she was paying attention to, the big-picture scenery and the finest details. She believes that every couple deserves memorable works of art to keep and cherish for years to come. Although Kaitlyn is originally from Florida, she fell in love with the West when attending graduate school in Reno, Nevada. She has always felt a deep admiration for the mountains, so she's beyond excited start a new chapter in Golden, Colorado with her husband and small dog. She also cannot get enough of open roads and trips to new landscapes: she's driven across the US four times, and has traveled to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe more than once.
